My family and I recently relocated to Klamath Falls from Florida, to escape the heat and humidity and to be closer to mountains. Being a very active outdoorsy family, so far we’re loving everything Klamath Falls has to offer. When I’m not behind the camera I love going on adventures with my husband and 2 littles, running and cooking.
I specialize in photographing weddings, newborns, maternity, and families in a very clean, simple, modern and timeless style. My studio is located in Klamath Falls, but I serve the entire southern Oregon area.
While I love shooting outdoors, I love the flexibility studio photography provides living in an area with 4 seasons. I’ve always had a longing for a creative outlet and a great interest in photography, but I didn’t get serious about it until after the birth of my daughter. Realizing how fleeting these special times are, I wanted to capture these memories in tangible way. Life
I've been married to my "college sweetheart" for over 10 years and we have 2 littles. We're all Ms: Mariel, Michael, Miles (7) and Malia (5). We are a very active outdoorsy family and moving to Oregon from Florida was with the intention to have more access to the outdoors and easy travel within all of the PNW.

A runner, is something I've described myself as for a long time and hope to continue to until I can no longer physically do it. Running is truly something that is part of my soul and that I need to maintain sanity. I'm very lucky to live very close to tons of running trails..

I am 1/2 German and grew up in Germany until I was 16 years old. One of the things I missed the most after moving to the states, was the food, but specifically THE BREAD. I taught myself to bake German style sourdough bread long before it became trendy during the pandemic.....but really, I LOVE all cooking. As part of my previous career as a dietitian I actually used to teach healthy cooking classes to share my passion for delicious healthy food that feeds our soul and fuels our bodies.

I live for going on adventures with my family and creating memories together. In the summer you can find us camping almost every weekend somewhere across our beautiful home state of Oregon. At least once a year we try to take the kids somewhere totally new and a bit more exotic. They say "start'em young:" We visited Iceland with our youngest when he was just 10 months old, and took both of the littles to Portugal when they were 1 and 3.

We had the best experience with Mariel! Very cozy environment, she put a lot of effort into getting the best shots and ensuring our little one was comfortable. We had a shoot with Mariel to get some newborn shots of our twin boys. They were two months old, a little late for typical newborn shots but Mariel was still able to get them in the most precious posed (I have no idea how). The pictures came out beautifully, better than I could have hoped for. She's also a sweet person and made us feel so comfortable during our shoot. Can’t recommend Mariel enough! We first met when we had newborn photos done. We were so happy with the experience that there was no question we would have her do our baby’s one year birthday/cake smash photos as well. We have also had family photos with her! Mariel was so gentle and patient with our baby and made us feel so comfortable during our sessions. All of our photos are stunning - we get so many compliments from family and friends. Mariel is our go to photographer for all our family photos. She is incredibly adaptable which is critical when capturing memorable moments with 3 kids under 4 years old.
